Aleta's Story
Life
Moved from Wisconsin on the day I turned 16. Spent two years in Idaho, graduating in 1967 from Nampa High. Spent 20 years in the Air Force (three years as an administrative specialist and seventeen years as an accounting supervisor) before retiring in Feburary 1988. During that time, I spent four years each in Japan and Illinois; two years each in Colorado, Florida, Alabama, and Ohio; one year each in California, The Republic of ...Expand for more
Korea, The Republic of the Philippines, and Massachusetts. I married twice, divorced twice, and for the moment, enjoy sole possession of the remote control. Currently sharing a home with my parents. The only regret for moving around so much in the military--a lack of permanence. But I'm glad to have met the people I did, shared the experiences I did, and to have been touched by the vastness of the world that exists beyond the horizon.
