Alex's Story
Life
I am happily married and still live in Hemet. We have no kids yet but hopeing to have them next year. I have lived in the valley since graduation and I guess I will be living here for a while to come. I have done well in both my professional and personal life. I must admit that my career is doing great as a project manager in an architectural firm and my home life could't be better. I have a great circle of friends and a great extended family. I do get out of the house from time to time. I have traveled extensively to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, Canada and to many areas of North America.
My life is just as I want it and things have gone my way on almost all things. I guess I wouldn't change a thing since graduation.
School
To be perfactly honest, I didn't exactly enjoy my high school years. Don't get me wrong.... I didn't say that I hated the experience but I didn'...Expand for more
t have much of a great time either. Besides being overly shy (I got over it... I am outgoing now), I wasn't exactly overly outgoing and full of intellect or witt. I was quite happy just being by myself instead of trying to fit in everywhere. My shyness did leave me with some very lonely moments at times and with very few invitations to parties and get togethers. I did however enjoyed the fact that we were a very small class. The added advantage was that everyone knew my name and always said hi. I do think back about the people I didn't get to see again after graduation and of some of my experiences, but overall...I wouldn't go back in time to do it again.
Workplace
I am a project manager at an Architectural firm in Redlands. I love the people, the work environment and the projects are challenging but fun. I've been doing this line of work since 1988 and I love what I do.
