Alexa's Story
Life
I've lived all over the U.S., my five kids are all grown, lots of Grandchildren and I'm waiting for that 'Golden Handshake' for my state retirement. When I'm not at work I keep busy with 'home improvements', flea markets, writing and watching the Grandkids from time to time. I just reconnected to the Internet after a four year break from electronic communication. C'est la vie! (and that's about all the French I remember after taking it every year!) .... If interested, send me an email. Take care. Best to all of you in life .........Alexa M. Becker
1/1/08**Happy New Year** yep, spending it here and just finished the Q&A survey. To clarify "I plead the Fifth": I am single; not loving it, not hating it, just single. I've been married, divorced, widowed, committed, and 'all of the above' but I've adjusted to being just single. They should really offer the choice of 'single and content'.
Til next time....take care.
6/30/09** With a firm Golden Handshake, I RETIRED!!! YES!!!!!
4/20/2012*** Much has happened during the past 2.5 yrs....

ghter - a victim of relentless bullying, lost a year of school and ultimately became the 'face' of the National & Global Anti-Bullying campaign led by World Champion Middleweight Boxer Sergio Martinez & the World Boxing Council. For anyone who follows boxing, you'll recognize her face and maybe even caught a glimpse of me at various fights ringside ...her latest event was at ESPN for her interview(s). We have a "group" on FB ...No Mo' Bullying.... that offers random updates. Feel free to join us. Monique is now a licensed boxer. Her theme song is "Hit Me with Your Best Shot ...the bullies tried and failed. She turned a mess into a message, that she spreads alone and alongside Sergio.
Anyway, it's a good thing that I retired because I'd never be at work!!!!
My Grandson, Adam, served and made it back safely from Afghanistan last month. I am very grateful for that.
He is an Army Ranger and is now in Kentucky and married..
I'm not very good at keeping in touch, as some of you have already figured out, but I often think of my friends, new & old, and wish you all contentment in this journey through life. We can only try to find and nurture peace.
Take care and be well til we meet again.
