More about Alexia:"When I left home(Ironmountain, MI and Aurora, WI) it was off to live in Texas, Fort Hood to be exact. First time I had ever been on a military installation. Just for a couple of months thou. This would be the part where I meet Justin, my future husband. Justin deployed shortly there after for 15 months. That would be when I moved to Glendale, AZ by Mike, Amy, and the kids. Just a few short months of being there we all moved to little ole' Pima, AZ. I had alot of goods times in both places. Especially with Hannah, Michael, Patrick, and Joey the 4 most special little kids. After meeting a few new friends, making some more good memories. Another few months go by, Mike, Amy, and I discuss seeing if my mother would want to move out here with us. Of course she says yes I mean it's Arizona. Eventually it was just me and her with a few more new friends, some more good memories. Finally from there "yes the 15 months is up" so its back to TX. First it was Houston by my brother Josh for a few weeks til Justin got in. Ok so now back to Fort Hood oh wait and "Killeen" just in case if your not still tracking where we had f...Expand for more
irst met. Killeen is the worst place I have ever lived. Now don't get me wrong Fort Hood was great along with other surrounding area's. It's just Killeen that sucks. Anywho so he's finally back and we get married Jan 26th 2009. Yet again a few more months along and it's off to Germany for 2 years. Now this is the part in my travels that I get to experience some truly amazing things. Different Countries, so many different Culture's, just a different way of life all together. There is so much more that could be said for this part of life, but I'll just leave you to the pictures for that. Now 2 years later my European exploration has come to an end. Goodbye to astonishing Germany and BAM hello states. Taking back to the main land alot of new stories and good times. As well as a bit of a changed woman on life. So anywho yea when "they" say the real culture shock isn't moving/living oversees they're not kidding. It's definitely well "different" when you get first get there, but it doesn't take long for you to adjust. Now being back stateside after having been gone so long that's a hell of a culture shock. So we are down to the now part of my journey's. I know what your thinking finally right if you've even made it this far. Hello Safford, AZ oh how I've missed you. Your glorious sunshine and the joys you bring. So for now this is where I'll be, from here only the Lord knows. Could be just another few months and it's off to Fort Carson, Colorado. Could be longer or not at all. As for me right now I'm just going to live life, and enjoy what parts of it are still magnificent.".
