Alexis's Story
Life
The summer after graduation, my mom moved to Oxford, England. Since then, our families have spent much time traveling between the countries, which has provided a lot of fun and adventure. I went to CSU Chico for two years, and then transferred to UCSB to get a degree in Occupational Psychology. After graduation I had the good luck of entering the medical device industry, which is where I have continued to work, now as a consultant. I get to work with fun, smart, interest...Expand for more
ing people to help develop novel technologies that save lives. Work (and personal) travels have taken me through Europe, Southeast Asia, India, Tanzania, Chile and around the U.S.. I met my husband, Mike, while skiing at Squaw Valley. (He also happens to work in the medical device industry.) We married in 2000, had our first daughter in 2001 and our second in 2002. For fun, we hike, ski, camp, run, sail and hang out with friends and family.
