In some circles I blend well, yet others I’m like polka dots and stripes, not such a good match ~ but I am who I am. In the dark of life, there is light. In the death of things, rebirth. ~ We need only be brave enough to search. Life is hard to make us strong. The past though sometimes painful, a reminder of lessons learned. Those who resist the lessons of life are doomed to repeat it until they do learn. Embrace life and grow. I’m lucky enough to be married to one of my soul-mates for over 12 years ~ a path that has bumps at times, but one I wouldn’t trade. I’m a mom to 3 wonderful kids, my youngest born with Down Syndrome ~ each a blessing bringing something unique to our family clan. Like a momma wolf, I’m very protective of them! I walk to my own drumbeat, rather out of synch with mainstream but in balance with Mother Earth and unique to me. I’ve been on a path of self-discovery for the last several years which has lead me to write my 1st two books ~ both still in progress. I’d probably be further along if not for FB games, lol. It has also led me to question many things I would’ve normally not thought of. At times I can’t tell if there’s hope for humanity or if we’re royally screwed, but being an optimistic, I’d like to think it’s not too late for change. My sense of humor is sarcastic; at times I’ve been known to offend. This, unintentional of course, so if something I say offends you I suggest looking inward and asking yourself why ~perhaps there is something deeper than my outpour of words. I believe humor is good for the soul and we must learn to laugh at ourselves. I think people take life too seriously, are offended too easily, and worry too much over things to which they have no control. If I’m missing something feel free to ask. You may get a serious answer or you may get something off the wall ~ I am at times eccentric and unpredictable, eclectic in every sense. You’ll either like me or find me irritating as hell…either way, I know I’ve done my job, lol. Be nice and learn to get along ~ Don’t be afraid to ask questions ~ Don’t be so impatient you can’t take the time to explain to those who are sincere ~ And learn when it’s better just to walk away, “Silent!” (It keeps them guessing that way).".
