Alice's Story
Life
Hello! After GHS graduation, I attended the U. of Redlands, married Craig Wallace in 1964, and graduated in 1965, with a degree in English and an Elem. Teaching Credential. I taught kindergarten for 5 years, and then took a 4 year break to stay home and enjoy our daughter, Tami and son Billy, before returning to the classroom. At that time, I switched to Special Education, and worked with learning disabled students for 10 years, while going to graduate school to get my M.S. in Special Ed. and 2 more Special Ed. credentials. apped students for the following 27 years, and joyfully retired in June, 2001! Craig retired in 2005, and we are loving our freedom as a couple. Our daughter, Tami, was married in July, 2000, and is also a teacher, but at the H.S. level. Her husband, Bob, teaches, coaches and is the Athletic Director of Santa Cruz H.S. Bob and Tami made us proud grandparents of two little girls, Jordan ('01) and Taylor (05)! Our son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Gloria live in Huntington Beach. Looking forward to keeping in touch with friends from the Class of '61! Alice
