Alice's Story

Left Fresno after 2 years at CSUF. Was pre-law at that time. Moved to Ventura since dad transferred there. Worked in medical insurance and realized that Law wasn't for me. Married ex-husband quite young and attended Nursing school there while having 2 babies. Moved back to Fresno to finish my BSN and MSN and apply for med school. Divorced the husband. Met current husband in 1990 and married 1991. Never made it to med school. Husband is recently retired. He was a doctor at Kaiser. Daughter Morgan has a BSN from CSUF and is currently working on her master's degree. Works as a shift...Expand for more
supervisor on post-op Ortho floor at Hogue Institute in Irvine. Son Ryan is in the middle of his Internal Medicine residency at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno. He met his lovely wife while in med school. She is a doctor as well. Love our home at Silverstrand Beach in Ventura County. Enjoying paddling my kayak in Channel Islands Harbor and paddling with an outrigger canoe team in the Ventura area.. Still heavily into crafts and sewing. Working part time as a Home Hospice Nurse and find the work to be very fulfilling. Hoping for some grandbabies in the next few years.
