Alice Burton:  

I got married right out of high school, had 5 lovely children which are all grown now. Two are by my first marriage and three are by my second marriage. Now I am a widow, my husband died Feb.3, 2008. I graduated cosmetology school, hair is one of my passion. I still look quite the same just gotten a little thicker, but I am still Alice. I have given my life to Christ, I am not the old Alice I use to be. God has completely turned my life around. During the course of my time and years at Washington Union I may have offended a few and now I am saying forgive me for my stupidity and ignorancy. A jewel you are to me. This one student really stands out to me and her name is Cathy Rice, she was racist against blacks and I got in a confrontation with her on the bus one day. Cathy I say I'm so sorry for all that I done to you and Ricky I still remember how friendly and nice you were to me.
