Alicia's Story

Life after 50! That is what consumes my days... After raising my family - one daughter and having the privilege of seeing my two grandchildren blossom and meet the world's challenges.. I have embarked upon my second career. From the art room at Keene High to a small studio in my home, or outdoor venues - where I paint fine art. I have exhibited and won honors at Beacon Hill Artwalk, was currently juried into a prestigious Boston exhibition, and have several times won accept...Expand for more
ance to the National Northeast Pastel Exhibition. This year (2010) I have been in two major exhibitions which focuses on agricultural landscapes and local farms in the region and I was interviewed and published in both local, regional and international publications focusing on working artists and art issues. Traffic to my home studio gallery has picked up and my paintings are in private collections in 3 additional states this year. Life is good! I intend to keep working it!
