Alisa's Story
I always wanted to be a model, fashion designer or food critic when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a wasteful & stoopid idea. As it turns out, they were right & wrong....
I wasn't tall or gorgeous enough to be a great model, and although I probably had the talent to be a fashion designer I thought it would be too hard to make a buck and I'd get tired of hanging around with gay guys all day.
So, what do I do now? I make no money working all day at a church (nonprofit) with gay guys! :o) Try to pay off my Master's Ed loan and keep it together up here in San Francisco. I'd still like to be a PAID food critic and I get that out of my system by blogging aliexplainsall...Expand for more

SO . . . JUST TO ANSWER SOME OF THESE "STORY" QUESTIONS SINCE it was asked of me to do:
To blow off steam, I workout or do Yoga, YOGA, YOGA! I taught Yoga for 7 years and keep up a regular practice.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have friends, concentration time, and empowerment to be able to deal with the day-to-day. A few cocktails don't hurt once in a while either.
I have caught up with a few people from Bullard HS that either moved to LA when I did or are here in SF. My fav has to be Matt Gammel, who is happy and settled in the Hollywood Hills. I try to see him at least 2-3 times a year. Alisa
