Life Life is a series of obstacles. As you approach and solve them, you become stronger. Sometimes you fail, but you try again...and sometimes you succeed. Success does not come without sacrifices. After High School, I went to UC Berkeley. I did the five year plan and wandered. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life. I spent a lot of time singing with the Jazz Choir, I double majored in Psychology and Physiology. I graduated in 1982, and moved to Boston. I had no job, and only $100.00 in my pocket. I got a job as a waitress, on Martha's Vineyard...an island off of Cape Cod. What a miserable job! On my days off, I would take the Ferry and Bus to Boston to look for a job. I found a job at the Presigious Beth Isreal Hospital...one of the teaching hospitals for Harvard Medical School, as a research assistant. I worked for a miserable person...and hated the job, but was able to make connections with The Furies, who hired me as a research assistan...Expand for more
