Alison's Story
Life
After graduating from UCDavis with a degree in Plant Science I have spent 27 years working with floral in a multitude of areas Retail, Wholesale, B2B, etc.
I was a corporate buyer at Safeway for 11 years, and left the corporate life to move next to the beach near Santa Barbara....spent 2 years at a start up Technology company and in 2003 started my own business importing and selling fresh cut flowers and bouquets from farms in Colombia and Ecuador. license and am a realtor on evenings and weekends.
In addition, I currently work for a large fresh flower bouquet maker and sell bouquet programs to major supermarket chains across the country and get to sell from my home office so I feel I have come full circle.
I have been living in the hot Inland empire now for almost 5 years, so I feel like I am back in Davis...and you know what, I missed the heat!!
I have two wonderful teenagers and three cats and enjoy life to the fullest.
