Alison's Story
Life
I have one daughter, she's 25 and beautiful. I also have two adorable Beagles, Herbie is 6 and Riley is 4. I didn't move far from Upland, I live in Alta Loma. Hubby worked for Verizon (GTE) for 29 years, he retired June 2006. He was a supervisor and the ADSL "guru". While working for Verizon, he was selected out of 4000 other employees to go to Bangkok and train and start up their DSL. We lived like a king and queen in a beautiful apartment, 2 maids every day and a personal driver 24/7, (no way in hell I would drive there). Hubby worked during the day, I shopped every day, we partied at night. The nightlife there is something else! I shopped so much, it took 6, 55 lb boxes to get it all home. s in Bangkok and go back when we can to visit. The people and the food are out of this world. Learn the language and learn to barter and you'd be surprised what you can get.
I was in the medical field for a few years, then went back into retail. The last 8 years or so I was in management in the jewelry/diamond business. I quit working in October of 2007. I stay at home now and enjoy having my granddaughter 3 days a week. I may be purchasing a local tanning salon business yet this year and also looking into starting up an internet business.
