Allan's Story
Met my wife, Marty, in 1974. I have two stepsons (one here and one back in NJ), with four grandkids total.
Stayed in the Princeton area until late 1994, when we moved to San Diego. (Dragged here by the first grandkid!)
Had a 'corporate' life primarily in HR, although I left for five years in the mid-80s to try to make my living as an actor. It's every bit as tough as people say it is, but I wouldn't trade the experience for anything -- except, maybe, greater success. (I am, howeve...Expand for more

Primary retirement activity is immersion in a local non-professional theatre where I'm on the Board and carry the title, "Producing Director." (That means when things get seriously screwed up, I'm often in charge of getting them fixed; and the problem may have been my fault to begin with.) Check it out: scrippsranchtheatre.org.
