Allen's Story
I didn't graduate from Ukiah High School. In the summer of 1971 I moved to North Highlands (Sacramento area) to live with my dad. In the next 2 years I attended 4 high schools in 4 states. It was a bad situation and almost didn't graduate. My senior year I lived with my older brother and his family in my home town of Vancouver, WA. I did well in school and graduated on time in June 1973.

ears I saw many places and earned many decorations and awards. After over 20 years of service I retired as a Master Sergeant on March 1, 1994.
In November that year I was hired by the Postal Service where I still work in Tucson, AZ.
Although I moved and didn't graduate from Ukiahi, I identify with it for I grew up in Ukiah and was acquainted with most of the students through the years from first grade on. There will always be a place in my heart and memories for Ukiah and everyone there.
