Allen's Story

My 5 Lives High School I was super-SHY. Played a little basketball, but other than that I was off with my church youth group. College I played a couple more years of basketball and gained a little confidence. Majored in Chemistry....that was dumb. Can you believe I went thru 4 years of college in the 60s and didn't smoke, have a single drink, or do any drugs.....but had a good time!!!! Joined the Military to beat the draft and spent 24 years in the Air Force. Off to Viet Nam in B-52s, flew reconnissance during the cold war, had a tour in the Pentagon, and retired after 24 years as a Lt Colonel. Yep, I brought down the wall!! supporting the Air Force, only this time for money. I had 3 offices: one in Ft Worth, one in Albuquerque, and one at Edwards AFB, CA. After 20 years of that I think I just fully retired. Next life will start as soon as I figure out what I want to do when I grow up. Maybe I will just visit ol High School/college friends full time! Basically I am planning a "4th Quarter Life Crisis". Lets see: buy a Harley, get a tattoo, and buy a gold chain to wear. On a family note, I married my college sweetheart and did a 20 starter marriage. Then I married another college sweetheart....when will I ever learn. We have 5 kids between us and 13 grand kids.
