Update March 08 - I've been in Alaska since December and I'm enjoying it absolutely! Beautiful mountains and snow. I'm already acclimated. I left for work today without gloves or earmuffs thinking it was around 30 something. Got down the road and saw that it was 20 degress Farenheit. Very cool, nes pah? Anyway, checkout my pics of the dogs running in the Iditirod (I think they left out an "o"). Those animals are absolutely unbelieveable. They do run- They do run-run, They do run-run. I'm consulting here and helping to keep that black gold running out of the ground. I'm feeling like I might want to stay here. The atmosphere and the people take me back to the 70's. Yeah-30 years ago. Now if I could only get my waist back to 30!! Life Whatta' mean my bio can't exceed 4000 characters. I knew that many before I got kicked out of college or got married again. Just tryin to keep it cool. Have 2 grown daughters and no grandkids. I had to adopt a grandchild. What is wrong with these kids today? Raised my kids in Rockport, TX and spent 20+ years there. The lure of the surf got us there in 1980. Moved back to Houston a few years ago. Worked as an engineer for many years and changed professions about 4 years ago. My wife and I have enjoyed fishing, sailing, and birding for some time. I love golf but never have the time to practice...Expand for more
