Allen's Story
Life
I have been married for 47 years and have 2 children (Brenda and Troy). I have 7 grandkids ranging in age from 11 to 25 (Blake,Brock,Drew,Preston,Ridge,Cailin,& Loralai).
I am big into showing cars. I have an '88 Mustang GT street machine named "The Showpony" that I've been showing for 20 years. Just sold my other car,a 1933 Dodge Gangster "theme car". Got many "Best of Shows" with both cars.(150 or so). I've had about 10 other show cars & tr...Expand for more
ucks in the last 20 some years, but the Showpony is my "baby". We also do a lot of camping all over and do a lot of vacationing in Branson,Mo.
Workplace
I have been the General Manager of the Iowa 80 Group Truckomat (now Effingham Chrome Shop) in Effingham,Illinois for the past 33 years. Prior to that I was a manager and area supervisor for Pester Derby Oil Co.in Iowa for 13 years. Preparing to retire on December 31,2014 and do a lot of traveling.
