Allen's Story
I left Los Angeles in 1980 with my son’s mother and her family. We landed in Santa Maria on the central California coast with our son Dylan being born in 1981, it was 3 days after I turned 20. It was April 1st
During that time, I was working at a huge greenhouse growing potted mums for grocery stores. I stayed there until 1984 and moved back to LA for a job opportunity at Northrop in Quality Management with a secret clearance working on the MX Missile Project until 1989 when the project was shut down by H. W. Bush My daughter Amanda was born in 1987 in LA. My mom Janet passed away in 1989 at the age of 48 from cancer and it has taken me many years to get over it. It was life changing for me.
I left Los Angeles again in 1990 after my 2nd wife and I split up and moved to Santa Rosa CA. After a year in Santa Rosa I moved further up north to a 500 acre ranch near a little town called Blocksburg and spent 7 years in Humboldt County growing out my hair and cultivating potent pounds of Marijuana. What a life it was during that time! 👍 In the fall of 1998 after harvest that year I moved back to Santa Rosa to move in with my girlfriend of 2 years. She got me out of cultivation and bad drugs, so I was very grateful to her We lived out in the country on a small farm we leased near the town of Windsor, the next town north of Santa Rosa.
We were on 10 acres full of grape vines with plenty of deer, jack rabbits and lots of quail too
1998 was also the year of my bad car accident that would change my life My girlfriend was there for me and helped me with my surgeries and rehabilitation for years! When I was stable we did some traveling to Mexico a few times along with some regular visits to the Caribbean I wasn’t much use around the farm for quite a few years and I couldn’t drive either for some time Connie and I never married and we were together from 1997 until 2014 when she passed away from cancer it was so devastating to me, she was my best friend. I stayed at the farm until 2018.
That year the property was sold and the farmhouse was being torn down.
So my time, 20 years of it, was over at that address. Rick helped me scrape and paint the house to really make it look nice even though it was being torn down. I loved living there for all those years so I wanted to thank the farmhouse for making it a great place to live so I painted the whole house to reward it before being torn down even though Rick said it was a waste of paint. Rick had just finished painting a house down the road and that’s how we met

The 1998 car accident that nearly broke my neck. Here’s the story A car going around 50 miles an hour T-boned me in my drivers door and moved my truck 12 feet to the right both vehicles were totaled I didn’t see who the driver was in the car that hit me It was a husband and wife and each one said the other one was the driver
I have 3 metal discs in my neck and a spine stimulator implanted in my lower back with the wires going up my spinal cord to my neck and shoulders. I control an electrical charge with a remote control that I carry with me This implant takes away 50% of my level 8 pain I have to live with that pain for the rest of my life. Meanwhile my neck, arms and hands can have a slight buzz (I can change to a higher or lower sensation or at different locations). I have severe nerve damage and my Dr says I shouldn’t lift more than 5 pounds and I told him everything weighs more than 5 pounds! The pain sucks but I live with it I’m used to it by now
And also the driver that ran into me had NO insurance so all I received was lifetime medical by way of permanent disability SS This accident pretty much messed me up for years But I’m grateful I made it through the years to this point. 420 allows zen feeling to exist ✌️
I didn’t mention Rick’s grandkids, Sarah is 8, Hannah is 4 and David is 3 Between the two of us we have a great group of grandkids that we love more than anything
Sorry that my story is out of sequence!
PEACE ✌️
