Allen's Story
Life
Well, after graduating North High, I attended HJC (now HCC) for 2 years, and then Salisbury State College (now Salisbury University, thus avoiding the "Salisbury Steak College" jokes...). I joined a fraternity while at SSC, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Alot of the friends I keep in touch with are from college and the fraternity. This is also how I met my wife, Susan, at least in a round about way. I'll tell you that story sometime when we talk in person ;-).
I have worked for a couple of different places during the past 21 years (jeeze, we are getting old, are...Expand for more
n't we?). I now work as a Senior Technical Consultant for Hewlett-Packard (no, not on the printer / PC side of the business). I do software and database development work for the federal govt. After my first stint as a govt. contractor, I swore I would never do it again, but after 13 years in the commercial sector, I got an offer I couldn't refuse.
My wife Susan and I have two wonderful children (doesn't every parent say that?), Christopher - 10, and Sarah - 7. We started late, if you haven't noticed. We live not too far from Hagerstown, in Taneytown MD.
