Allene's Story
Life
Clay and I (married since 1975) moved to Bocas del Toro Panama in 2003. We live on a small island in the Caribbean, off the grid. Solar/wind energy and a backup diesel generator when needed allow us to watch DVD movies, play music, run a vacuum cleaner and microwave, etc. Wireless Internet. Propane refrigerator and stove. th a point break for good surfing. We get our own lobsters, fish and octopus. The town on the island has everything else we need. We still travel a lot but as you might guess, we really prefer staying home. I own the local monthly newspaper here and invite everyone to check it out by just using any search engine and typing in allene blaker and bocas breeze. Have been hearing from quite a few Westbury friends and it's cool finding out what they've done over the years. Hasta luego!
