Allison's Story
Life
I have lived in Ridgefield, CT since 1991. We moved here from a coop we owned in Douglaston, Queens. We bought a 200-year old home on 2 acres up on a hill. I love the privacy, yet only an hour or so from NYC so I have the pleasure of enjoying the country yet being close to the city.
I was married to my college sweetheart in 1985 and we were divorced in 2006 We have one son, Harry, 13 years old.

I will soon have a 15 year old step-son and a 20 year old step-daughter, she by coincindence only is currently attending my alma mater Roger Williams University. It was so weird going to student orientation as the parent. Bristol has certainly changed.
I am the chairperson for the Fresh Air Fund in CT. We bring inner city children to the country for a 2 week stay in the host famillies home each summer. I have been hosting the same child since he was 8, he is now 15 years old.
