Alma's Story

Life After graduating from Union I went on to Fresno State where I graduated with a B.A. in Liberal Studies, 1999. January 2000 I married my college sweetheart and we moved to San Diego where I taught the 5th grade through an internship as well as pre-school. We moved back to Tulare when my husband got out of the Navy and I taught in Lindsay, again throug...Expand for more
h an internship, 2nd grade for a year. My reason for leaving that job was my son. I got pregnant half way through the school year and decided I would be a "stay at home mom". So here I am today and he's going to be 2 in Sept. I still take a class here and there to finish my credentials so I can go back when he's older. My family is my priority for now.
