Alonzo's Story
I'm having a great life and have realized that if I had it to do over, I like many of you would make some changes but I would keep my job, experiences, children my wife and my upbringing which includes my High School friends and experiences.
I'm presently the pastor of Salem Baptist Church and the father of 4 wonderful people, three daughters and a son (my namesake). My wife and I have been married now for 29 years and this is my second marriage. The first one did not work out because of the imaturity of both of us.
As many of you might know that I sang with the Stridells during my highschool years and enjoyed that as well.

coaches Coach Johnson, Coach Richards (football) and Coach Jankowski (baseball). Not only did these men share with me how to bring the best from me but they also taught me a very important life princple. And that was that "All good leaders, were once good followers." I realize this concept even today in the vocation that chose me.
I love to play golf although I am not that good at it, I hold a 15 handicap and I enjoy the fellowship with the group that I play with.
I have plans this year to go back to school for my doctrate degree in Divinity and I just hope that I still have enough thought cells to get me through it. I also would like to see as many of my classmates as possible, to laugh and to recall our time as teenagers.
