Alynette's Story
Life: This link explains what I have been up to since 2000..ok they will not let you post a URL but check out the horsegazette March 2003 article about my small horse breeding business.
My kids also showed me how to trick out a myspace page "alyfarley" and I have been having fun on that and have alot of photos posted there too.
Its now 2009 and I am still Living in Austin, Texas been here over 12 years and lovin life. Lived in Dallas a while and in the blueridge mountains in virginia where I met Chuck my hubby. I have two kids they are Destiny 15 and Devon now 20. Wow can not believe I will be 56 at the end of this year. Its been a great ride so far. Started the kid thing late but I am certainly enjoying them. Married to a wonderful guy, finally found one worth keeping around we are coming up on 17 years, that is another wow. We are best friends and he cooks too (cool) I hate to cook.
I retired from Telecommunications (was sort of pushed out due to the industry slump) and started breeding Paint Horses. I am a country girl at heart and I am loving the horse thing.
The rest of my siblings live in Oklahoma, just far enough away, Darryl, Wayne and twin sis Arleen.

Workplace:
Well lets see I have been employed in the telecommunications industry doing real estate & contracts for 18 years or so. Retired (ha if you call it that been working hard labor now throwing hay bales for a living) I started breeding Paint Horses back in 2000. The Horse Gazette article tells it all. It is now 09 and I am working again part time as a consultant to a engineering firm and I doing permitting/real estate and most recently even some construction inspection. I now enjoy traveling a bit, but not as much as with MCI being a road warrior is not as glamours as it sounds! Been some pretty cool places, Italy in the Tuscany Hills the most memorable! If i win the lottery i would move there in a heartbeat! Of course i would have to take my horse Dakota had him since he was 2 and he is now 12, another wow.
Still like what I do enjoying my family kids and they are a challenge (teenagers). Been married to a loving husband, have a great family and a hobby/work that is rewarding. Life can't get much better than this!!!!! I am enjoying finding out about the folks that went to school with me. Have very few close friends but the ones I do have are soul mates.
