Alyse's Story
For those of you who know me, well, my teenage years were very wild and crazy. My life now has nothing to do with my life then. After numerous years being in the work force, I decided to return to school a few years ago to begin working on my Master's Degree in Health Care Administration (minor in Health Care Finance). I'll be finished with that degree in March, 2009 and begin working on my Ph.D. LOL--what a change from my highschool years, right?
I've been working for the same company for about 12 years as Finance Director--a non-profit in Raleigh that works with autistic and developmentally delayed adults and children. I absolutely love my job and will probably retire there one day--if I make it that long.
I have two beautiful children, a son who is 13 and a daughter (who is my clone) who is 8. For those of you who remember, you'll be amazed how much she looks like me then. Unfortunatley, I'm divorced--a very sad event, but better for all concerned. My God, where did the days go.
Everyone says I look exactly like I did when I was younger (except for about 15 extra pounds, a few gray hairs, and a few crow's feet, but I don't think anyone could mistake me.) I still stay in contact wi...Expand for more

My life is good--very good. My parents are still around and are in wonderful health. My brother, Brack, is a doctor now and lives in Asheville. My other brother, Shayne is doing great, living at the Beach. My beautiful sister, Linda, lives near Goldsboro and is married to a beautiful husband who adores her (yeah, ok, she's been spoiled rotten by her hubby, lol). My whole family is happy--doing well. As I have gotten older, I realize more and more how dear my family is to me. I love my brothers and sister and parents and all of their families so much.
My children are my life. I love them so totally and completely. I was 38 when I had my daughter, so I stay young keeping up with them They are good kids--both spoiled and both beautiful. My son is into sports--everything. He is tall, smart, handsome and athletic. My daughter is a 5-year ballet student, gymnist, and a cheerleader. She is graceful and smart.
For those of you who have signed my guestbook, its great hearing from you all. Also, I just got a real membership so I can see who has tried to get in touch with me.
