Alyssa's Story
Two weeks after graduating from High School, I hit the skies and moved to San Jose, California. I had a hard time focusing on school and work. It was then that I realized that continuing in education and pursuing some sort of degree wasn't in the stars for me. After a year of lounging on the beach, traveling the coastline and trying to balance a relationship and a part-time job, I found myself back in the skies once again. ore I was back to the juggling. I had a job and a boyfriend that was good for the moment. But I needed more. I met a really great guy in November of 2005. The rest is history. We were married on October 13, 2007. We bought a house in Portage (why??) and got to living with our dog. In February of 2008 we found out that we were expecting a baby. Cameron was born on October 24, 2008. I resigned from my job at a local hospital in May of 2009 to stay home and watch him grow. Life is nothing like I expected it when was 18, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
