Alyssia's Story
After graduating from Connetquot High School, I went on to Union College in Schenectady, NY where I earned a BA in American Studies. From there I went to law school, but didn't finish. An illness hit during second semester, and I missed my finals. I eventually made up the missed exams, took some "time off" and went to work in a law firm as a paralegal, and never returned to school. 1996, the first few years in NYC, the rest in Silicon Valley. I married my college sweatheart, Fred in 1982 and we're still going strong. We moved to California in 1984 and have lived in Los Gatos (near San Jose)since 1992. Los Gatos is a great little town located just "over the hill" east of Santa Cruz. We have two children, a son who is a freshman at Los Gatos High School and a daughter who is a junior at the University of Chicago.
