Amalia's Story
Well, I wasn't very popular in High School. I guess you can say I was a late bloomer. So old classmates only remember me as I was then: nice, quiet and always in the library.
Now I've grown up and am totally different. Although, I'm still nice most of the time. When I was young, I used to tell my stepdad that I was going to be a secretary or a teacher. I am currently an administrative secretary (meaning secretary) and I am at ASU West working on a BA in Women Studies. I should graduate May 2009. Then I'll be working on my Masters. ce to live in. I still love going to school and learning. I still receive very good grades. I have a wonderful family and some very close and dear friends. What else can I ask for?
Before my daughter, I was selfish and didn't do much. When I held my daughter for the first time, I panicked and freaked out. Now I understand what real love is. I actually had to learn how to cook. I need to practice more (not the best cook in the world); but, I do love looking at all the cooking shows.
To add on to what I wrote previously:
I graduated from ASU West with my BA in Women's Studies (Magna Cum Laude) and I am now taking classes for my Masters in Educational Leadership with NAU distant learning classes. I am also a first-time Nana. Love, Love, Love, my grandson Romeo!!!! He will be 4 months on September 1st. Can't wait to go home after work or school and hug him.
