Amanda's Story
Life
After high school at HCHS, I attended U of M Ann Arbor for 1 1/2 years. My life took an unexpected turn and I took some time off and never ended up going back. I attended a foreign missions training school for most of '95 and spent a little time in Costa Rica as part of the training. chool organization, Youth for Christ. I was loving what I did and had no plans to change direction until I met my future husband, who also happened to be well-established in Alaska. Alan and I married in '98. We have 2 girls ages 5 and 7. Also a springer spaniel and assorted fish. I am currently a homemaker and homeschool mom teaching both girls. My favorite hobbies are gardening, reading and running.
