Amanda's Story
Life
I married Kevin McCalment in 1991 and we have a son, Jake, who was born in 1998. We live in Avon, IN which is just west of Indianapolis. I work for an agent with American Family Insurance as his office manager and new business agent. Our lives primarily revolve around Jake and the constant renovations to our house.
5/2007 Update: For those who don't know, Kevin passed away in January from a bacterial infection on his heart valve that caused two massive cerebral hemorrhages. Our lives will never be the same.

life without Kevin with the help of our family, some incredible friends, and neighbors. We were able to keep our home and I'm trying to provide as much stablility to our lives as possible. Not that there haven't been many, many bumps and bruises along the way, but we are as happy and content as we can be while missing Kevin every day.
10/2009 Update: I have married a very wonderful man with two daughters. Allen, Jessica, & Elizabeth have joined our family. We spent this past summer camping every other weekend at state parks and it is obvious how Allen's influence has really helped Jake grow beyond the little boy he will always be to me.
