Amanda's Story
After graduation, I moved to Lubbock, where I attended Texas Tech for Political Science. Lubbock saw many changes in my life as that was where I joined the army, met and married my husband of 13 years, and had my beautiful twin girls 12 years ago.
The army decided that we needed to experience extreme winters, and so we moved to upstate NY in 2005. I got out of the Army and became a Realtor, a job I loved immensely, and my husband finished his career in the army.

lly decided to settle down in Southern Michigan, where my family had moved several years before. We bought a gorgeous old Victorian manor house, and spend our free time antiquing to fill it with period furniture. While my husband enjoys his retirement, I work pro re nata for the VA. I also officiate for USA Swimming, as my girls, Chloe and Morgan have been competing since the age of 6. I have an adorable Yorkie named Scruffles, and my two precious rescue kitties, Tatum (who I call Tater) and Ginger.
