Amanda's Story
Life
After graduating from Eastern, I attended Wagner College in Staten Island NY and graduated with a BS in Nursing. I met my husband while in college and Dan and I have been married since 1975. I last worked in Manhattan (NYC) as a Case Management nurse for an HMO but became ill in 1998 with a neurological disease. daughter Sabrina lives down here and is getting married in 2003. Our son Dan lives in Staten Island and works for NYC. My beloved passed away in Feb 2015, but I am working to continue his legacy as a volunteer guardian ad litem (an advocate for children who are the victims of neglect or abuse. I speak for them in court during hearings involving the adults who have abused them), a cause near and dear to Dan's heart!
