Amber's Story
Life
Since graduation, I started college (and stopped numerous times). My job for about 4 1/2 years was driving the city bus in York. My daughter was born in 2001, my son was born in 2003. I've been raising my nephew since December 2005. My life is raising my children and completing my degree.
School
Biggest crush: Stefa.
Most inspiring teachr: Mr. Fogel
Any regrets: Not being outgoing in high school. Most people remember me as the quiet one.
Funniest: Prom night, getting lost coming back from the Inner Harbor...
Happiest: Girls' Volleyball, Band and Bandfront, and going to Virginia Beach with Didi and Angie
Workplace
I hate switching jobs.I like the experiences and people you meet, but that's about it.
In high school, I worked at Taco Bell until I graduated. Even the first year of college, I worked on my breaks there.

ight months at Wal-Mart, while they changed to the Supercenter.
Then I loved working as a supervisor for a mailing company in Emigsville. We processed international mail and I felt important:-)
I wanted more $$$ so I learned to drive transit bus with Rabbit Transit--the city bus. I loved this work. Where else could you learn about a person's life in 5-10 minutes? The pay was excellent. The hours sucked. Had trouble with finding a babysitter for odd hours...
Good things must come to an end... I went to Head Start to apply for a bus driving position. Due to the timing, there wasn't enough time to train me for school bus. The director was impressed and hired me as an Assistant Teacher. (Interesting since this was what I was going to school for anyway...) This is the third group of preschoolers that I've worked with and it's great!!!
