Hey everyone....my name is Amber Winkler (formerly Helm) I was from the little village of Iuka IL. Well since graduation (May 2001) I have been at Fort Campbell Ky with my hubby who is a Sgt in the U.S Army. I am now living in Evansville Indiana working at a hospital here. He is on an 18 month deployment so I am closer to my family and I like it here. Since high school I have had a son...I named him Matthew Alexander...had him on my birthday actually (October 30th) and my husband is still in the infantry working w/the 506th Infantry Division. I have one dog named Maggie that I have had since 2001 and we just got a new kitten named Martini. s in my senior year and then he deployed to Iraq....all together we have probably spent only 1/2 of the 9 years we have been together. With a deployment to Kosovo, 2 deployments to Iraq, and now Afganistan. I had Matthew and was involved in the Oprah Winfrey "baby boom" show here where we got tons of baby stuff. I went to college for medical assisting in 2002 for a bit but decided I didnt want to work that job so now I am enrolled in medical billing and coding so I am excited about getting that done so I am able to get a job doing something I want to do.
