Amber's Story
Life
For New Year's of 2006 my boyfriend and I moved to Reno, NV to get out of the hectic and expensive life of Southern California. In March, on my birthday, he proposed and now we're getting married in April of 2008; a long engagement to match the long courtship. We bought a house in October 2006 and are struggling to find better jobs and a better life, but so far we're doing just fine. I hope 2007 brings just as much luck, or even more, than 2006!
School
I had a tough time at OVHS for a lot of different personal reasons, but I am glad I stuck through the IB/AP classes; they really do help in college. Even though the memories are not...Expand for more
all great, forfeiting a lot of my social life has paid off in the end; though there are plenty of "what if" questions still hanging on. Life has moved on, and it really has been an interesting and wonderful trip.
College
I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from CSU Fullerton. I just hoped that I continued with my education then when I had the chance. At least I can say I graduated. Reno's a bit tougher to find a job because only about 25% of the people that live here graduated college. My excuse is that they're just jealous, but I hope my degree pays off soon, since that's what kept me going all those years.
