Amelia's Story

Okay....HS was a battle for me. Never figuring out where I fit in. I tried everything, and not til college did I realize I'm okay doing my own thing. I loved UNC. I was able to be myself. Finally figured out that it was fine. Went to Chapel Hill w/ Teaching Fellows. Got a BA in English Ed., Masters in Library Science. ...Expand for more
Met my future husband in Grad School. Completed National Board when my baby girl was just 6 months old. Been teaching at a high school since Jan. 2000, and I love my job. My darling daughter was born May 2003. I'm exploring my roots, getting back to what I was and what I am now. Still figuring out who's the "real me".
