God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
the courage to change the things I can;
and the wisdom to know the difference.
"For one human being to love another; that is perhaps the most difficult of all our tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation".
Rainer Maria Rilke
"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything, live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer."--Rainer Maria Rilke

e they were the big things."--Robert Brault
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." Steve Jobs
âYour journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don't think that you've lost time. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.â -Asha Tyson".
More about Amir:"I am a recently graduated student with degrees in psychology and law. Law school was more or less a hazing ritual, so after the brutality and demoralizing nature of that experience, I'm not quite sure I really want to practice.
I love psychology, and get told routinely how I'd be a great therapist, but I don't want to spend 5-7 years getting a Ph.D. I think my real passion is social policy and politics, but I'm not quite sure how to break into that field, or whether someone with my personality, integrity, and ethics is suitable for the rough and tumble world of politics. If anyone has any ideas on where to go next or what to explore, I'm all ears!
I feel incredibly privileged to have led the life I did. I have been given so much and feel a moral calling to help those who have less than I do. I hope to be able to use my psychology and law degrees to improve the lives of those who need help most.".
