Ammi Brannan:  

After I left East I went to RVC for 1 year then I joined the Air Force and was transplanted in Louisiana. While serving I continued to go to school and also worked part time at a pet store. It was through the pet store that I met my husband Steve in 1995. We married in May of 96; he came with his beautiful 4 year old daughter, Heather. I got out of the AF in 96 and continued to go to school and work. We moved to Houston in 98, and in 2000 we had Sadie. In 2003 we had our little boy Sawyer, and between the kids and the pets, our little family was complete. We moved back to Bossier City, LA in 2006 and this is where we will be for a long, long time to come. I earned an Associates of Art in 2000 and an Associates in Gen Math and Science in 2002, a Bachelors in Psychology in 2006, and am currently getting my Masters in Education at Centenary college of Louisiana. I am currently teaching 4th grade at an underprivelaged school in Shreveport, LA, but due to high fuel costs (among other reasons), I am hoping to move to a school closer to our house next year.
