Ammon's Story
Ok, here we go. The fast and furious of Ammon since college.
Joined the army and went to Fort Sill Oklahoma for field artillery, moved to California to Fort Ord where I fell in LOVE with California. Learned to rock climb and scuba dive. Married Lori, my college sweetheart. Had a daughter Kristin. Moved home, worked construction, hated it, went to college for electrical engineering, got a job with a CALIFORNIA COMPANY and loved it, but it meant being away from home ALOT. Moved to Virginia to be home with the family, had a son, Ammon. Contract in Virginia ended so had to travel AGAIN and HATED it. Quit that job, took one in PA and after 9 months of commuting to Virginia, moved the family to PA. Worked there 3 years, HATED it. Took a job with the California company again at a plant in PA, and absolutely loved it. Nearly died in a motocross accident, worked as a part time minister, keep racing motocross, got a divorce because had an issue with my wife having a boyfriend. Lost my mind because of the divorce for nearly 9 months that are totally a blur aside from reconnecting with my guitar. Went to Michigan, California and Australia to get my head back together and had several friends in PA, MI and Oz really straighten me out with total honesty and bluntness (Thanks Ed, Brian, and Nikki!) which put me back on track. ound Jane which has turned out to be the best thing that happened to me so far. Married, traveled, had fun, but somehow lost my daughter as a result of the divorce mess. Jane and I both lost our jobs to China. She went into x-ray, I went into nursing. My Dad died, which was the loss of one of my best friends and a situation that haunts me still since Kristin, my daughter, had been alienated from them for whatever reasons. Jane bought me my first Martin guitar when I graduated Drexel Nursing School!! Traveled some more, got our careers on track, bought a jet ski, a new dirt bike and fixed up my Harley. Learned to wakeboard, fixed up the house, traveled some more (Mexico, Florida, Carribean, Maryland shore, Myrtle Beach, Cabo San Lucas, and Europe soon!!), Reconnected with Kristin my daughter which to date is the happiest moment of my life aside from her and her brothers births!! Currently working alot, going to the gym because it's way too cold to ride bike, planning on buying my ducati this year, and just getting ready for Christmas. Never got the ducati, lost Kristin again, this time I think permanently. Ammon Dean Graduated and then went in the Navy but not before he helped me start a band, Got promoted, worked more on the house, Lost 60 pounds, Still have Jane, who still puts up with me. At this point, just living life, and counting the days to retirement.
