College
After leaving Stillman in 1968, I attended the University of Illinois Law School for one year. Then I was drafted into the US Army due to the Viet Nam War.
I stayed in the Army for 20 years and retired as a Senior Non-commissioned Officer. While in the Army, I performed tours of duty in Europe, Southeast Asia and numerous posts in the US. After retirement from the Army, I attended the University of Alabama Law School and completed my law degree in 1992.
Presently, I am the lead attorney in the law firm of Kirkpatrick & Associates, with office in Anniston, Alabama.
I have been semi-retired since 2009.
I am married to Jo Ann Arnold Kirkpatrick, a retired school teacher.
We have been married for 44 years and have two adult sons.
I enjoy hunting, fishing and golf.
