Amy's Story
Life
Life has been great!! Since graduating PHS, then LTC, I got married, moved to a suburb of Chicago, and had a great job; of course, it had nothing to do with court reporting, until six years ago. I passed the national exam, which allowed me to do what I loved -- freelance court reporting. I met a couple of celebrities -- can't tell you which ones :-) Four and a half years ago, I had my first child, a boy, Noah. We moved back to WI in October of '04. My husband, Jamie, was a financial broker, but three years ago, he bought an oil re-refinery in Chicago, which he still owns/operates. In that time, we've traveled in the U.S. and abroad. ed of the cold!! In May of '06, I had my second child, a girl, Elizabeth. I'm still on maternity leave and probably won't go back to work for a while. My hobbies include my children, spending time with friends, shopping, shopping, shopping, reading, and relaxing in my hot tub; that is, when I have time to myself!!
Since I wrote this, I have had a third child, a girl, Emma. She will be a year old on February 6th, 2010. Amazingly enough, she wasn't a result of a cruise! I haven't returned to work. Retirement is in the short future. My kids are my life; Noah is a yellow belt in Tae Kwon Do and Elizabeth is in gymnastics and dance. I don't get back to Plymouth very much, but hope all of you are doing well.
