Amy's Story

Life I'm still sink (single income no kids). I'm a Java developer for D&E Communications. That's just my day job.. what's more exciting is my own Internet-based distribution business. School I went to Nitrauer (Manheim Township SD) for kindergarten and pre-first, and then when my family moved, I transfered to Bucher for the rest of elementary school. Between 8th and 9th grades, my family moved again, and I transferred to the School District of Lancaster--something which I hated at the time, but ended up being the best thing that's ever happened to me. I did 9th grade at Wheatland Jr. High, and graduated from McCaskey in 1989. College I got my BS in 1994 in Computer Science from Penn State. In 2001, I graduated from Penn State Harrisburg with an...Expand for more
MS in Computer Science. Then I became a full-time student at the University of Delaware going for a PhD. I ended that prematurely, but I got another MS in Computer Science Workplace My first job in my field was for AExpert, Inc, and I hated it. The only good thing was that it was in downtown Lancaster, and that I made a good friend. (Though she didn't work for the company.. she worked across the hall in the same building) I did a few other jobs in my field until I worked in the IS department of Rite Aid. I worked there for 5 years before quitting to become a full-time student. (See college bio for more info). Now I'm a Java developer for D&E Communications, and I own my own business. Military Does one day in Air Force ROTC at Penn State count?
