Amy's Story

I graduated from Brigham Young University in 1986 with a B.S degree in Sociology. I started working for Alaska Airlines in 1987 in Anchorage. I worked for Alaska from 1987 till 2007. I moved to the Phoenix Arizona area in 1992 when Alaska Airlines closed their Anchorage office. I met my husband Jim at singles group at church for the over 30 crowd. in 1997 in the Mesa, Arizona temple. We are the proud parents of one boy Brent who is almost 7 years old. I would have liked to have more children but some chronic health issues were an issue. I am currently a stay at home Mom. I left Alaska Airlines in 2007 because I needed a change of pace in my life and offered a great "early retirement" package at the time.
