Amy's Story
Life
Since I graduated high school I...have lived in San Francisco and Austin Texas and again, now in San Diego. I now seek adventure without straying too far from home.
On education I have studied at the community college wherever I roam. On "higher education" I took a Shakespeare English Lit. course at UC Berkeley and then life happened and that was that. Enjoyed my brush with the UC system.
I currently work at Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP, a SD downtown law firm and have been doing so for 9 years. My other job comes each day as I live happily married to my husband Bob Weas, of 9 years and we raise our daughter, Rosalie, now 6.
I'm a founding member of a non-profit group called Girls Think Tank. We've been recognized for our work helping downtowns homeless folks. We're providing Winter Survival Backpacks each winter which we...Expand for more
distribute in the streets and at the Alpha and VA shelter. A rewarding aside. I hope everyone can realize that small acts take root and turn into large gifts and everyone should do what they can.
Whenever I have time I study Photography, Philosophy, Theology, Ayurveda and enjoy fashion/ vintage fashion history. Over the last 3 years I have taken photography courses at City College and have been taking side jobs shooting special events around town for Kleege Industries as well as making my own black and white photographic art prints for my family and friends.
Life for me has always been a process of evolving and enjoying the good with the bad. Fame and fortune would have been cool but still learning how to be patient enough to attain it. I do hope that infamy is well regarded since i'm pretty sure i've earned that degree, Batchelor of Infamy.
