Amy's Story

Life Let's see.... after high school I went off to Stout where I majored in beer and partying. Got a fresh start the next year at the U of M where I majored in Child Psychology and joined the U of M Waterski Show Club, a beer drinking team with a skiing problem, hah hah. Lots of crazy skiing and crazier partying, I met lifelong friends there. I met my husband on the team, we graduated, and his job was transferred to Florida so we moved to Orlando where I skiied professionally in the shows at Sea World and Cypress Gardens for 7 years. I had my son, Jake, who would not let me put him down so I ended my skiing career, my husband's job conveniently got transferred back to Minnesota and I have been a soccer mom ev...Expand for more
er since. We now have a daughter and our family is complete. Emma is 5 and is on the gymnastics team and Jake is 8 and recently won 5th place at the National Scholastic Chess Tournmament in Nashville ~~ proud mom! As a family we enjoy waterskiing together, hiking, and just enjoying life. I'm out of shape, pale, my hair really needs highlights, and I haven't had a social opportunity to have a alcoholic beverage in months, maybe years, but I love being a stay-at-home mom I feel very fortunate to have such a wonderfully blessed life. I really truly truly LOVE my life, it could not have worked out any better (well, I could win the lottery I guess). Hope you all are doing well, class of '88 was a great time!
