Amy's Story

.After high school I went Orange Coast College for two years of college and then travelled all over Europe for one year. When I came back I transferred to UC, Berkeley where I got my Bachelor's degree. Then I moved back to Southern CA and attended Cal State, L.A. for a year to get my teaching credential. I met my husband in SoCal and we I moved to the Napa Valley where we live...Expand for more
d 30 years. While there, I taught 1st grade, and also went on to specialize in teaching reading. We had two children, both grown and successful in their chosen fields. I am retired and I live along the coast about 30 minutes south of San Francisco. . My husband of 40 years passed away after a relatively brief bout with cancer in 2013. I have been living on my own ever since.
