Amy's Story

It's hard to believe 20 years have almost passed since leaving WSHS. After graduating from James Madison University in 1993 with a BBA in Finance, I worked as a Loan Officer, Credit Representative, Strategic Sourcing Analyst, various roles in business process reengineering, and Program Manager at a global IT firm. In 1996, I married Chris Morrow who also attended JMU. I left my career in 2003 to be with my wonderful children, Madison and Davis, who are 8 and 5 years old. ring at the schools and have started teaching ballet and tap to 3 to 5 year olds. We've lived in Birmingham, AL for 12 years since leaving Virginia, but we never thought we'd stay more than five. Our family loves to go snow skiing, boating, ride bikes and vacation on the beaches of the Gulf Coast! "Give me the patience to deal with my blessings." Things we've learned while living in the "south": *plural of "y'all" is "all y'all" *must claim association with an SEC team even if you aren't an alum (My kids have adopted Auburn University only because their teachers are alumni.)
