Amy's Story
Life
Hello! My husband Jason and I live in Oklahoma City, OK with our 2 year old daughter Kylie and 7 year old dog Bailey. We enjoy spending family time together and being active in our church community. My evenings are filled with Barney videos, playing with a train set, putting together puzzles, reading, and playing with a toddler room full of toys. Being a mother and wife are the greatest acheivements I have attained since high school.
School
Since I moved to Oklahoma, I haven't been able to keep in touch with anyone from my graduating class. I have some really fond memories of high school along with some not so fond memories. If you are reading this, I hope that this finds you well. I am going to try to make it to the 10 year reunion this year, depending on when it is. I start grad school in the fall, therefore I hope it is schedu...Expand for more
led in the summer.
College
I began my college career at the University of Connecticut then transferred to Oklahoma State University. There I earned a bachelor's degree in education. I taught for 6 months and decided it wasn't for me. Then I enrolled in some pre-requisite courses for a master's in physical therapy. I am currently enrolled in a cadaver anatomy class. I applied to Oklahoma University Health Science Center PT program and will be starting graduate school in the fall.
Workplace
I waited tables to support myself through my undergrad. I taught for six months and decided to go back to school, therefore back to foodservice. I am a part-time bartender at a local restaurant called Trapper's Fishcamp and Grill. Not a spectacular job to have 10 years out of high school, but it will help pay the bills through graduate school.
